At what stage should a general contractor contact ERGIO?+
Ideally when architectural documentation is developed enough to quantify the building and the structural concept is available. Early contact supports feasibility and value engineering, but a detailed quotation requires controlled drawings, specifications and structural information.
Does ERGIO perform structural calculations?+
No. The structural design and calculations must be provided and assumed by the partner's appointed structural engineer. ERGIO adapts the approved information for production, models each component and defines machining and assembly information.
Can ERGIO quote from architectural drawings only?+
In many cases ERGIO can prepare a preliminary estimate from architectural information and a simplified production study. Assumptions must be identified, and final pricing requires the structural and technical information relevant to the package.
What is the minimum suitable project size?+
For complete kits, projects generally start around 100 m², with a strategic focus on larger, serial and multi-unit developments. Smaller enquiries may be suitable for structural timber, machining or repeat supply, depending on order value and technical scope.
Can the contractor procure only the timber structure?+
Yes. ERGIO can supply a structural package, a package with selected envelope materials, a broader coordinated kit or project-specific machined elements. The final scope is configured for each project.
Can ERGIO deliver in phases?+
Yes. Projects can be released, produced, packed and delivered by building, unit, level or agreed construction phase, provided the programme and approvals are coordinated early enough.
Who installs the timber kit?+
The kit can be installed by the contractor's team, a local specialist partner or ERGIO, depending on the market, programme, availability and agreed contract. Remote and on-site support can also be provided.
What happens if a component is missing or incorrect?+
The issue should be documented against the package and piece reference. ERGIO investigates the source and, when the issue falls within its responsibility, organises the corrective solution as quickly as practical under the contractual terms.
Does ERGIO supply MEP systems or complete finishes?+
No. ERGIO does not normally provide heating, plumbing, electrical systems or complete finished buildings. Selected boards, membranes, insulation, cladding and joinery may be included when expressly agreed in the package.
