Does ERGIO perform the structural design and calculations?+
No. The partner’s appointed structural engineer supplies and assumes the structural design and calculations. ERGIO reviews manufacturability and converts the approved information into production-ready models and components.
What clear spans can ERGIO manufacture?+
The achievable span is determined by the structural engineer and depends on loads, geometry, material, fire requirements and connection strategy. ERGIO confirms whether the resulting members fit its manufacturing, machining, handling and transport capacities.
Can ERGIO supply treated timber for agricultural environments?+
Treatment options can be included when defined by the approved specification and contract. Correct durability also depends on design, ventilation, moisture control, protected interfaces, drainage, inspection and maintenance.
Can the package include insulation, membranes and cladding?+
Yes. ERGIO can coordinate selected envelope materials, timber-frame elements, boards, membranes, insulation, cladding and joinery according to the agreed package. MEP installations and complete finishes are outside the standard scope.
Can long structural timber elements be transported across Europe?+
Yes, subject to project-specific review of member length, vehicle type, route, permits, access, turning radius, unloading, crane position and site storage.
Can ERGIO assemble the structure?+
Assembly may be completed by ERGIO, a local partner or the contractor’s team, depending on country, programme, site conditions and availability. Remote and physical technical support can also be agreed.
