South Street House

What sets South Street House construction apart is its stunning semi-hexagonal shape, spreading over an impressive 178m2 area.

The framing structure of the exterior walls measures 45x200mm and is insulated with 200mm Knauff Unifit 032 mineral wool. For controlling the vapours, our client chose Rothoblaas Vlies 120 membrane. 12mm OSB was applied, and a highly breathable membrane Transpir 110, completing the wall on one side with a 12,5mm plasterboard and on the other side with a vertical cladding of 28mm panelling.

The interior walls’ framing structure measures 45x100mm, with Knauff Unifit 035 – 100mm mineral wool as acoustic insulation, to which a 12mm OSB was applied and a 12,5mm plasterboard.

The foundation rests upon 100 Easy Pads, successfully replacing traditional concrete foundations.
